The Shotcrete Pump Operator will perform related tasks which will involve physical labor at the Construction Site
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate concrete pump unit
Safely operate pump
Cleaning and maintenance of unit
Plan travel schedules and routes
Use maps and other trip planning aids
Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
Responsible to operate shotcrete equipment
Will operate hand and power tools, such as air hammers, cement mixers, mechanical hoists and other equipment
Prepare the job site by digging trenches, set braces to support the excavation, clear out debris and other waste materials
Will be required to assist other craft workers as needed
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have at least five (2) years of experience operating shotcrete equipment, Regular attendance and punctuality, Valid Class 3 Drivers License with air brakes and a satisfactory driving abstract

Heavy highway work requires hard, physical work in all kinds of weather. The majority of work is outdoors and the terrain of the construction site may be rough and uneven. Work may be done on the ground, in trenches, in confined spaces, or at significant heights.
